Resort amenities, central locations, and the convenience that makes a Branson condo rental the smart choice for couples, golfers, and families who want to stay close to the action.

The Case for a Branson Condo Rental

Resort living, center of it all

Branson condo rentals offer a specific combination of advantages that cabins and lakehouse properties cannot fully replicate. Resort-maintained grounds and amenities are right outside your door. Championship golf courses are within walking or cart distance. The 76 Strip, the Branson Landing, and top entertainment venues are minutes away. And the condo format gives you full kitchen functionality, private bedrooms, and living space without the remote location overhead that some cabin communities require.

For visitors whose priority is maximizing time at shows and attractions rather than immersion in the natural landscape, a centrally located Branson condo rental delivers a fundamentally more efficient base of operations.

Branson’s condo landscape is anchored by two of the most established resort communities in the Ozarks: Thousand Hills Golf Resort and Pointe Royale Golf Resort. Together, these communities cover more than 700 privately owned condos across multiple subcommunities, with an 18-hole championship course designed by Robert E. Cupp at Thousand Hills and a second 18-hole course at Pointe Royale overlooking Lake Taneycomo.

Thousand Hills — Branson’s Most Recognized Condo Community

Golf resort living

Covering approximately 450 acres in the heart of Branson, Thousand Hills Golf Resort is one of the city’s most recognized communities. The 18-hole championship course designed by Robert E. Cupp opened in 1995 and has anchored the community’s reputation as Branson’s premier golf condo destination.

The Thousand Hills umbrella covers 14 residential subcommunities. For vacation condo renters, the most relevant are The Foothills (spacious units with covered balconies overlooking the course), The Fairways and The Club (well-priced mid-range condos with pool access and golf adjacency), The Champions (popular with couples and smaller groups for its walkable entertainment proximity), and The Links (newer units with elevator access — important for guests with mobility considerations).

Condo units across Thousand Hills range from studio configurations ideal for couples to spacious 3-bedroom layouts appropriate for families of six or eight. Most units include private patios or balconies with golf course views, full kitchens, in-unit washer/dryer, and community access to indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and fitness centers.

Pointe Royale — Lakeside Golf Resort Condos on Lake Taneycomo

On Lake Taneycomo

Located just two miles south of the 76 Strip off Highway 165, Pointe Royale is a gated resort community with a distinctly relaxed country-club atmosphere. The 18-hole championship course runs alongside Lake Taneycomo, and the combination of golf course views and lake proximity creates settings that are genuinely difficult to find elsewhere in the Branson area.

Pointe Royale condo rentals range from 1-bedroom lakeside units to larger townhome-style properties, most featuring private patios or balconies with golf course or lake views, full kitchens, in-unit laundry, and resort amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickleball courts, fishing access on Taneycomo, and the on-site clubhouse restaurant. A Stay and Play golf package is available to guests who want to pair their condo stay with a discounted round on the course.

Pointe Royale also sits adjacent to Lake Taneycomo’s celebrated trout fishery — the cold, clear tailwater below Table Rock Dam that produces brown and rainbow trout year-round. For guests who want golf in the morning and fly fishing in the afternoon, Pointe Royale is the only Branson community that delivers both without a car trip.

StoneBridge Village — Gated Golf Resort Condos in Branson West

Gold Resort Living

On LedgeStone Championship Golf Course.

StoneBridge sits seven miles west of the 76 Strip, past Silver Dollar City, behind a gate on 3,200 wooded acres. The community was built around LedgeStone Championship Golf Course, a par-71 Tom Clark design that Golf Digest called a masterpiece of mountain golf architecture. Five sets of tees stretch from 4,906 to 6,881 yards, and water comes into play on ten holes.

Our condos here sleep 8 to 10, mostly 3-bedroom units and townhomes with screened porches facing the fairways. Full kitchens, in-unit laundry, gas fireplaces, jetted tubs, and several walk-in plans with no stairs at the door. Your amenity pass covers three pools (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), tennis courts striped for pickleball, three playgrounds, sand volleyball, and the catch-and-release pond at Forest Lake, plus 10% off green fees and 10% at the LedgeStone Grille.

One thing to plan for: every vehicle checks in at the Welcome Center off Highway 76 and pays $7 per day. Once you’re through the gate, Silver Dollar City is still only a few minutes back down the road, and Table Rock Lake is about the same the other direction.

Condos vs Cabins vs Lakehouses — How to Choose

Find your fit

The right property type depends almost entirely on what your group actually wants to do each day. A practical decision framework:

Choose a condo if

You are prioritizing entertainment access over natural setting. Golf is a central activity. Your group needs elevator or first-floor accessibility. You value central location over acreage.

Choose a cabin if

Ozark forest atmosphere and privacy are important. A fireplace and wooded deck are part of the vision. You are traveling with pets. Your group is large and benefits from multi-room cabin-style space.

Choose a lakehouse if

Being on or immediately adjacent to Table Rock Lake is the trip’s defining priority. Boating, fishing, or watersports are the main daily activities.

Accessibility and Practical Notes

Worth knowing before you book

Several Branson condo communities offer elevator access, including The Links at Thousand Hills, Branson Landing condos, Majestic on Table Rock Lake, and several Fall Creek buildings. If first-floor entry or elevator access is a non-negotiable requirement, filter specifically for that in the search tool above or contact our team before booking.
